Windows 8 is one of the supported OSes listed on the game card so, yes, it will work. If it doesn't for any reason please don't hesitate to contact our Support department and we'll do our best to help you get your game on :D

I have windows 8 and it run's really well. I also use the toolset, and it runs better in windows 8 than it ever did in 7 or Vista.

yes, it runs, but at least for me, it doesn't run particularly well. I have to start it in windows xp compatibility mode in order tp get it to work and crashes quite frequently... :(

I've been running NW in Windows 8, and it runs great for me. It has never crashed on me at all.

I have windows 8.1 it works. Except it won't load on the desktop. It has to be in a folder. And the text looks a little washed out, though that may be because it's been a long time since I played it. And I quit the game just now, and it said "Game had crashed" so I honestly don't know if it crashed while quitting, or it bugged to think my quitting was a crash.

Just played both games in Win 8.1 in the lasts months, perfectly smoothed, though NWN2 sometimes lost the keyboard and had to move to the desktop and returning to the game (but probably my antivirus was the culprit)

Both games are configured by default by the Gog installers to run in privileged modes and the NWN2 Electron Toolset probably need to run with support for Win XP SP 2 as crash a little with the modern OS.

I just got a new desktop and it came with windows 8.1 and I downloaded neverwinter nights from gog then I installed it after I launch the game after the movies are over it stops working.

I had some initial problems on my laptop which I resolved by setting the game to run in Windows 7 mode on the Compatibility Tab (no other options checked). Once I set the game's options, I removed the compatibility mode and it runs fine without it.

i have win8 and it sorta works. the game for me freezes up randomly. the music and background noise keeps playing the game locks up my computer, task manager wont close it out either, i end up having to reboot. I installed from gog and also have the original disks and get the same issues from either application.
