Hello everyone!

Kingmaker, Kingmaker, make me a king. I just finished Kingmaker and I really enjoyed it. The only problems I have with the module is that it was kind of short and the enchanted weapon was way too powerful. My half-orc fighter one-shotted absolutely everything except the final boss. Also Kaidala dropped an I love you bomb out of nowhere and I didn't really know what else to say. That sounds kind of like a Seinfeld episode when I think about it.

Seinfeld: "Why didn't you just tell her you aren't interested?"

George: "She's a nymph who got her faced burnt off. What else was I supposed to say?"

Kramer: "You know George, this nymph thing isn't so bad. I hear they have cures for diseases that don't even exist yet".

*takes a bit out of a sandwich; wags his finger at George and talks with his mouth full*

"You'll thank me later"

*Leaves Jerry's apartment*.

What did you guys think of it?

I found Kingmaker to be rather contrived. I started out thinking, "Who am I?", and during the game I thought, "I must be a politician". Then as the module progressed, it got to, "What the hell is going on?". I still feel that way, even knowing the long and short of it after all these years.

I think it is likely that a sequel was planned, and it the sequel was dropped, just like ShadowGuard.

Not to mention Witch's Wake... damn, it hurts that they never got any sequels.
