My first encounter with NWN2. The manual say that I can click a location and the selected character will move there. I can't make that happen. The only way I can get my characters to move is the good old WASD method. What are the basics of character movement ?

You are in Character mode.
On the bar down the bottom you will see Strategy mode & Exploration mode.
They are both point & click.

You can enable "click to move" for Character mode in the camera options menus, (turned off by default), which is what I use. So I can both run with WASD or click to auto-navigate. Strategy and Exploration mode use click to move by default.
Oh and * (keypad asterisk) switches camera modes, I think.
