Hi. I have windows 7 64-bits. Processor Intel Core i7, graphic card ATI Radeon HD 5770.
I start the game launcher, click on the play button and then it close and nothing happens. I've tried everything I know and every solution I found on every forums and nothing works. I tried running as admin and with every compatibility settings, I did not installed in the program files folder, I started the game using the nwnmain.exe, I tried all the different video config available.... I even installed the critical rebuild even if I heard it's supposed to be included in the GOG version...... well nothing is working, I still have the exact same problem.... :(

Can anyone help me pleeease!! I want to play this soooo much for nostalgia's sake!!

Same symptoms as in the thread next door?

Maybe it's just AMD 5xxx series graphics and win7 that's not working (with current drivers). Dunno.
Did you try disabling catalyst AI in your graphics card options?

I came back to the game very recently after being away from it for several months and had crashing at game launch whereas everything was working fine before. The only thing that had really changed on my system was AMD/ATI driver updates. Disabling catalyst AI fixed it for me, but YMMV. Makes me think something got torqued in a driver update somewhere along the line.

I have a bit of the same problem. I was running the game fine using a gtx 460. NEVER had a problem. Well that one bit it (very sad), so I tried using the onboard crap, which was a Radeon 3200. Now all it does is give me a windows error.

How exactly do I disable this catalyst AI? Not familiar with this line yet.
