I know that I can find the hit die for HP/LVL in classes.2da, but what I'm looking for is a way to give a new lvl1 character a 1-time health boost at the start of the campaign.

example:
LVL1 Barbarian: 120HP + d12 per lvl
LVL1 Sorcerer: 40HP + d4 per lvl

Currently, it's always 1+d# per lvl, which I find annoying because the early low-health characters die simply too easily compared to the high-health late characters and if I want to make something like a "free world" then low-lvl characters will insta-die to anything that isn't lvl1. With higher starting health, at least they would still have a chance to run for their lives.

Thanks for any feedback.

I'd edit the class 2da to give each class Epic Toughness (20 HP each) a certain number of times. 6 for your barbarian, 2 for your sorcerer for example.
