Hello! I played the german version of NWN 2 some time ago and although I patched it completely it was still very buggy. I actually got quite far once but the game bugged out so hard it was impossible to continue (broken character spawns and stuff like that).
So, how about this version? Is this really truly bug free? I mean gamebraking bugs, not a missing texture somewhere or stuff like that. I'd love to get this on this sale but I'm unsure if I should go for it - if I play such a long time again just to see it bug out it will be the last time I play this.

The OC is still pretty buggy.
But for my last play through I only had to use the console to spawn one creature.

My last two playthroughs have gone without any hitch whatsoever -- no broken spawns etc., but bugs are to be expected in any game. Name me one game that has no bugs!

I specified it - I said gamebreaking bugs. And yeah, most games these days come without them - at least after they get patched. And when I played NWN 2 back then it was much more buggy than let's say Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim or Fallout 2 without community patch. It was absolutely unbeatable. Every time I reached aproximately 2/3 of the game it broke completely - quests, encounters, spawns went completely bonkers - can't remember the details but I never could finish it. Good game behind it, though. Maybe it was just the german version and that's why I'm asking.

What people have to understand is that mod-able games like NWN are MUCH more likely to bug out when community made mods are installed. Don't get me wrong... I am not blaming mods for all bugs, but it is much more likely, and sometimes it is down to the mods not being installed correctly.

Anyway, like I said, in my last two playthroughs of NWN2 I found no game breaking bugs at all.

Okay, thx, I got it now - I'll keep it low on the mods although my skyrim runs really stable and I got tons of mods installed. I think I never even installed one on NWN 2 back then. I'm guessing that it was the german version, then. Anyway I'm looking forward to this because I'm HUGE Black Isle/Troika/Obsidian fan and this is one of the few I never finished.
