Hello, I installed NWN: EE for the first time today and when I tried to run the toolset, I get the error, "Abnormal program termination". That's it. I googled a little and someone said that running it with Windows XP Service Pack 3 would fix it, but it does not. Does anyone else have any other ideas for what might fix this error?

This is a very generic error: it could be caused by missing libraries, by errors in configuration file, by permissions-related issues and by many other causes.

First of all, does the game run properly?

Try deleting the file nwtoolset.ini located in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\.

You need to provide A LOT more information about your systems. What operating system are you running, what is your CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.

You mentioned Windows XP... the minimum required OS for Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition is Windows 7. If you're still running WinXP then you're way below the minimum specs for the Enhanced Edition. NWN Diamond Edition should still run on WinXP, but the Enhanced Edition has continued to update the game engine and has dropped support for anything lower than Win7.
