I can't get this to work. Every time I tell it to switch it to match my system's native resolution, the game glitches, the cursor flashing, the options menu stretched across the screen, the music still playing, but no response to anything I do. I even tried alt-tabbing out, nadda. I have to kill the game (alt-F4 actually works) and reload, and again it is always in that blasted default of 1024 x 768. I've disabled anti-aliasing and a bunch of other graphics options thinking I was somehow overloading something, no dice; I've even confirmed that if V-Sync is off it just crashes the game outright instead of this glitchy freeze that occurs when V-Sync is on. Is there a way to change the initial launch resolution so I can see if it's the change back and forth that is breaking the game?

I think someone here said that if you switch to windowed mode first, then change the resolution to 1920x1080, it'll stick when you change back to fullscreen mode.

Nvidia?
I did come across that gsync/freesync or however it is called again can cause some problems with the current driver version (including crashing games)

Might be worthwhile checking for it as well.
It's a Radeon card.

Tried altering the .ini, no dice. Tried the windowed then up the res then fullscreen method, and it worked, and loads in 1080 res when I launch it from scratch again. Well, got it working, thanks.
