So, I start the game and all I get is a black screen and the music playing in the background. This continues indefinitely (half an hour, just wanted to make sure it wouldn't eventually "solve itself" or some other such thing).
No clicking, typing or other action provokes any sort of reaction, though one can still alt+tab to desktop (and back) no prob.

I've tried the resolutions below at both 16 and 32 bits c-depth.
800*600
1024*768
1280*1024

The system specs are Windows XP (Ultimate SP), 1024mb RAM, 64mb video memory

Any ideas?

Ok, after a Lot of tweaking and experimenting I've come to this conclussion. It gets finicky as all pebbles when run on a virtual PC. Tried it with three different computers, all works, run virtual PCs on them (with identical setups to the actual computer) and nothing.

So anyways, for me this is all covered.
