I recently purchased and installed Myst Masterpiece Edition off of GOG. The game itself seems to run fine; however, any actual videos in the game do not run, such as the opening scene with Atrus falling into the chasm, or the animations of Sirrus and Achenar. I am running the game on Windows XP, and I have played Myst 3: Exile in the past on this computer without any trouble (installed from the CD). Has anyone else had this problem, and how can I fix it?

Try to disable Visual Themes on the game shortcut, maybe apply win98 compatibility too.
