What exactly does the option do? I'm familiar with them in Riven but I'm not seeing that effect in Masterpiece Edition. Is it doing something else I'm missing or is it not working for me?

I guess they should do the same as in Riven but at my end having the option enabled or disabled also doesn't make any difference, the 'transitions' effect just doesn't work.
