I am playing Real Myst. Just reinstalled in Windows 7 64bit
I am running Direct 3D NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290 (Direct3D HAL)

I did the compatibility switch to Windows 98 SR3 My linking book image works, Atrus message in the imager works.

My problem is when I go into the library and start using the tower rotation.

I click on the tower icon and hear the motor and the white line swings around. The problem is I don't see the white lines for the gears clock tower and spaceship. Nothing seems to happen when I swing the tower to line up with the breaker boxes at those locations. I tried to line up from memory but when I go up the tower I never see a window or the clue. I should have hit by dumb luck by now but nothing happens.

Do I just not have the right compatibility settings or is this something else?

Have you turned the switchers on ?
Oops! I feel stupid. The last time I ran around and flipped everything on first thing before I went into any building. Thanks for the answer.
