After spending 3 hours dicking around with different compatibility settings, updating drivers, re-installing, turning off anti-virus, bringing back the broomstick of the wicked witch of the north, I have come to the conclusion that this game is just going to continue to freeze up on Windows 7 64 bit no matter what version of Quicktime I run - isn't it?
And throw in the fact that I have to get technical support on the forums to find out how to send and email for product support and I realize that if there was a way to make Myst run on my computer they would just frickin' tell me how already and not keep sending me off on endless fool's errands.
Too bad because the game used to be fun to play and it just shouldn't be that hard to take me there. $6 was cheap, but how much would I have to pay for a version that actually works?
