Everytime I tried to load this game I get a virus warning about suspicious pythia and the the menus.dll file can't be found.

I know you posted this some time ago but I just had the same issue with Riven and Norton Antivirus. It was a false positive on my system. I went into Norton and restored suspicious.pythia from quarantine and the game works fine now.

I just purchased Riven today, and I am also getting this virus warning with Norton, while trying to install it.

Disable Norton for the short few minutes it takes to install after download. Then if you get the virus msg. and can't start Riven, go into Norton quarantine and RESTORE the file. It really is a false ID by the Norton software.
