Help. I downloaded Riven - The Sequel to Myst and for some reason it did not automatically go to the setup screen as it usually does. The settings on the GOG Downloader said that it should. So I manually went to the file and double clicked it. After a bit I get the Do you want GOG to make changes to your computer, hit yes and shortly get the message that "This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running". Interesting. I had downloaded this program yesterday and all worked as it should. But after having problems with freezing and not being able to save the game, I uninstalled it and then redownloaded it numerous time. I have Window 7, 64-bit. I am not all that computer saavy and thought these games would work fine. I downloaded and played RealMyst and that worked wonderfully. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So I was able to get it installed and running. However, I am back to where I was originally, which is I cannot save the game and when I try that it goes back to the desktop and I have to start all over again. Frustrating to say the least. Any suggestions on how to correct that problem and then probably the freeze issue that I have been reading about? Thanks again.

Try manually starting the installer as Administrator (Right-click it => Run as ..)

You can also try to circumvent the GOG downloader for this, by manually downloading the game from your game shelf. Just disable the GOG downloader.
