Hello, all!

I recently purchased Riven after doing a new playthrough of Myst - it's been years since I've had a chance to play. Unfortunately, it won't start up for me. After trying to open the game, it changes the screen resolution to the game resolution, flashes black, then quits and changes the resolution back to my normal display.

I've tried installing on two computers with the same issues. One runs 32 bit Win7, one 64 bit 8.1.

After looking through the forum, I haven't been able to find anything that helps. Does anybody have any ideas?

[Edit] Wow, my Searchfu must have been failing me earlier. After posting this, I came across another thread ("Can't get Riven to Launch" - it won't let me post a link right now), which solved it for me. (Well ... maybe not the steps, but pointing out that it'll work when using the standalone installer.
