I run laptop with Vista - Plenty of power - I have downloaded Riven twice (1,733,705 KB??) and the file seems to be intact. When I click on the Riven Setup Application my Windows Explorer just freezes up. It freezes if I right OR left click the application. Any help would be appreciated.

You have UAC on ? 'Cause it could take a while for UAC to go over a file that size.

Maybe try to temprarily disable UAC to install the game and re-enable it once the game is installed.

Also, make sure your AV isn't interfering with the install process.

Here's what I will do;
1. I have downloaded file (1,733,705) Can someone verify the file size??
2. Turn Off UAC PRIOR to INSTALL process
3. Turn of any AV applications PRIOR to INSTALL process
4. Attempt to INSTALL by RIGHT clicking and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
Think that will do it????????

The filesize of your installer seems ok since it matches mine.

I must apologize, I can't tell you happened - I gave up in frustration yesterday. This AM i gave it one last try. Turned off UAC and it loaded and installed. It was nothing that I hadn't tried many times yesterday. Thanks for your help.
