I'm stuck on the Throne Puzzle on Spire. I know what needs to be done to solve the puzzle. But I can't get all 4 frequencies set in time. I can get 2 to 3 of them set, but the first one stops vibrating before I can get the fourth one set. This reminds me of the Organ Puzzle in the original Myst. That was a very fiddly puzzle. The Throne Puzzle is the same, and it adds a time limit too??

I started with Spire. Haven't visited Haven yet. I'm hoping someone has a Myst IV saved game that's right after the Throne Puzzle has been solved. Thanks!!

Just to be sure, you're doing the frequencies in the "optimal" order, right? Meaning, starting from the material with a holder that has 1 hole, then 2, then 3, then 4. If so, then the best save I have is after spire is complete and I was about to link into Serenia. Haven hasn't been touched.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I was doing them in order. My first attempts didn't factor this in, so obviously I couldn't solve the puzzle. But I figured it out. Regarding your save file, if I understand you correctly, you've completed only Spire. If this is correct, then that would be great. I could look at a walkthrough for Spire to get any story I missed after the Throne Puzzle.

Another option might be for me to just ignore the rest of Spire, link back to Tomahna, link to Haven, complete it, and then go on to Serenia. But are there events that must trigger or tasks that must be completed in Spire after the Throne Puzzle in order for the game to be completed?
