Has anyone had any success running realMyst in Wine or better yet in my case, on Mac through Wineskin?
I've got it running, but it's got issues. It runs much too slowly, with an awful framerate. The menus are okay, but gameplay is terribly slow.
Using WS8Wine1.3.37 it had an odd case of cursor drift. Left and upwards were okay (but jerky) but a slight movement to the right or downwards and it would drive to the edge of the screen instantly.
When I did a test run with WS9Wine1.5.23 it ran alright, was still choppy, but then gobbled up memory until it slowed right down and I had to suffer through the app's slow, painful death. Doh123 tells me there may be an issue with with logging system though, so it might be better with an update.
Ideas? Any thoughtful input would be great.
