I managed to figure out a working SGSSAA bit for realMyst: Masterpiece Edition!
For those who do not know what "SGSSAA" is, it stands for "Sparse Grid Super Sampling Anti Aliasing" and is basically a brute force method of Anti Aliasing.
SGSSAA can be VERY expensive in terms of performance, but the image quality gained from it is impressive.
I only know how to make this work on NVIDIA and not AMD cards.
** INSTRUCTIONS **
You will need NVIDIA Inspector so download that if you don't have it already.
Open up NVIDIA Inspector. You may either have a profile that was included with your NVIDIA Drivers. If you already have a profile it will be labelled "realMyst" in NVIDIA Inspector. Back up the profile by "Exporting" it in NVIDIA Inspector and once you back the profile up, click the red X in NVIDIA Inspector and DELETE the "realMyst" profile. The purpose of deleting the profile is because it has certain compatibility bits at the bottom of the profile which are meant for the non-masterpiece edition of realMyst and is no good for what we are trying to do here.
Go ahead and create a new profile with NVIDIA Inspector and name it something like "realMyst: Masterpiece Edition" or something along those lines. You will need to add the realMyst executable to the profile you created so your NVIDIA Drivers will know to link the profile to the game. Just click the little window icon with a green + it should say "add application to current profile" and browse for your realMyst.exe executable and add it.
Close NVIDIA Inspector for now and open NVIDIA Control Panel. Setup your new profile with your desired settings within NVIDIA Control Panel and apply them and close NVIDIA Control Panel.
Open up NVIDIA Inspector again and fill in the settings in the picture I attached to the bottom of this post. I blacked out everything that doesn't pertain to SGSSAA.
That's it! Enjoy realMyst: Masterpiece Edition with 4x SGSSAA =)
** NOTES **
1. This is the SGSSAA bit for those of you who already know what to do and just want the bit.
0x004000C1
2. You can also choose 2x or 8x SGSSAA by swapping out the 4x Anti Aliasing and 4x Spare Grid Supersampling options in NVIDIA Inspector for the 2x or 8x alternatives. Just make sure you adjust the LOD Bias (Try 0.5000 for 2X and 1.2500 for 8x)
3. Here is a website that explains in more detail what SGSSAA is and how it came to be.
