I remember playing this tittle of MYST on a high-end computer when it came out in 2000. I ran all the graphics settings at maximum and went to town. One problem, it was very slow going as my frame-rate was 10 fps. I have a modern computer it runs the game physics just fine. Computers of that time couldn't handle this game too well. It is detailed to the point where the waves on MYST Island are rolling in a random fashion. The puzzles may be the same but everything else seems fresh and different in this version. The environments look amazing for their time. This version of MYST is a real treat for me to play and show off the tech that would have been in the original MYST.
