So the game runs, I get video, sound, etc but I can't actually move anywhere. Maybe I missed something and I'm not using the correct controls, but I've tried everything I can think of and I'm simply not moving. Any help would be great.

You can move forward by clicking and holding down the mouse left button and moving the mouse to pan around. You can move backwards by clicking and holding down the mouse right button.

or

You can move back/forward using the W and S keys and using the mouse to pan around.

or

You can use the arrow keys to move and turn around and use your mouse to just look up/down.

Okay, so nope I wasn't missing anything the game doesn't allow me to move at all.

Well, then there's a weird probelm there somewhere, one that i honestly don't remeber ever coming across. It's really weird that the game isn't registering any inputs. Can you get to the load/save menu by pressing the Escape key ?

In any case, if you're on Vista or Win 7 maybe you could try these general steps

-Apply these settings to the game shortcut:
XP compatibility (SP2), disable visual themes and Run as Admin.

Once that's done go to the game start menu folder, right click the 'setup' icon and choose the option 'Run as Admin'. When the setup tool pops up change your 3D Hardware settings fromDirect3d T&L HAL to Direct3d HAL .

RealMyst controls not working. Mouse shoots around but out of control. I am in Windows 10. I tried to go to GOG Support but it won't accept my Support request unless I attach a system information file. I don't know how to get that.
