I have windows 7 (64 bit), dual core cpu 2.2ghz each and a Nividia GeForce G 103M video card. I can't get Real Myst to work, I have tried all sorts of settings without luck. Can anyone please help?

Solved my issues under 64bit Win7. My post with details: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/myst_series/real_myst_poor_performace/post26
I just bought and installed RealMyst on a Win 7 64 bit system w/Nvidia GTX 460. It crashed the first time using GOG's loader. Afterwards I used the native RealMyst setup. I choose Direct3d HAL, not Direct3d T&L HAL. I didn't use Direct Sound. I did use Full Screen AA. I set my res for 1920x1080.

So far, it has worked just fine!
I have 64 bit Windows 7 and played myst as soon as I downloaded it and it works fine, even with a dedicated graphics chipset.
Crashes for me with the same setup as posted above (realmyst.exe, D3D HAL, no directsound). or with the default setup (D3D T&L HAL) on Win7-64b, with a Radeon 6850 card. The crash is more or less in the same place (starting point, unlock the subterranean chamber by the dock, set the projector to show the marker switch; the hologram appears, CRASH!)

(edit) I found settings that work apparently. realmyst.exe in compatibility mode for Windows NT 4.0 SP5, and disabled visual themes; realmystsetup.exe: textures to medium, enable advanced mapping and D3D sound. Keeping fingers crossed.

(however, the original myst still crashes)

Contact Cyan about this on their support site here, it does not sound like anyone has actually taken the time to let them know about it;
