I recently did a clean install of Windows after upgrading to 10 and now Riven is giving me a little trouble loading saves. It keeps saying that it can't load saves from CD-ROM version of Riven in the DVD version.

My save files come from the GOG version that I had before the Windows re-install, did GOG change their version of Riven over to the DVD version?

i downloaded the current Riven version, and the setup-file is bigger than the one i had on my PC.
so hopefully GoG staff can confirm or deny this.

I guess we'll see. It'd be cool if they did, but kind of sucks that my saves don't work. Still, I don't mind starting over if I have to.

I noticed that most of GOG's myst games are stated to work on Win 10, but Riven apparently is not listed as such. Perhaps they do have bugs to fix.
