Figured I should post this here and make sure the Myst fans were aware this was happening. Cyan has a Kickstarter for making a new game they're calling Obduction, and you can become a backer here:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cyaninc/obduction?ref=live

I'm already a backer. The Kickstarter is open until November 16th. Would love to be able to see this here on GOG...
Atrus is asking for my money? Yes yes YES! PLEASE TAKE IT!

over 50% funded but itsmoving very slowly now.
Just sent Cyan money...............roll on 2015!
Sounds promising..
Am i the only that had that feeling that you're back in a Myst game when watching the Obduction movie on kickstarter?
The Kickstarter is now at over $855,000 as I write this. They've confirmed Rand and Robyn Miller will be acting in Obduction (first time they've done that together since Myst), and Ryan Miller will be writing for the game. One week left in the campaign! Things are looking promising at current rates of pledges.
$933,000 with 4 days to go. Looking a little less promising. I hope they don't just barely miss their target, that would be cruel...

And we made it! :D
We made it! And the level of funding supports the stretch goals for the Oculus Rift and localization.

They're still accepting pledges via paypal at http://www.obductiongame.com/, so anyone who missed the Kickstarter still has an opportunity to help meet the remaining stretch goals and get some digital or physical goodies.

Once more... Huzzah!
Oh crap, now I have a reason to buy an oculus ;)
