For a game series that arguably consists of nothing but pretty backgrounds strung together, you'd think it'd be a breeze to create some cool wallpapers to offer for download. Pretty much take a screen shot at any point of any of the games and bam, wallpaper. Just wondering why desktop backgrounds weren't part of the package when you buy any of the Myst games and if we can expect some in the future?
As an aside, anyone know where to find some cool Myst wallpaper?

I wholeheartedly agree. I would love to see some Myst wallpapers!
It is a shame that GoG doesn't have any real extras along with the Myst games, as there are plenty of cool things in existence.
I have a few high-res images on my computer, I found most of them through Google Image Search (you can set a minimum size of 1 mp to find only large enough images for wallpaper).
Most of the big images are high-res screencaps from the realtime 3D Uru and Myst 5, but there are a couple of massive pre-renders of Riven art that are fantastic.

I've also seen plenty of high-quality Myst IV renders, and a couple of Myst III official wallpapers.
Awesome point. However, the Myst series is just new to GOG, I'm sure we'll see something show up soon.
Right guys?
Does that happen? I registered here a long time ago but I only started hanging out here once Myst was released. Do they sometimes add new bonuses after the games have come out?

That is a good question, one I hadn't thought about. But yeah, I'd say if any series deserves wallpapers, it'd be Myst. I myself was confused to find that they didn't offer the soundtracks for either games on GOG. The soundtracks do exist out there (I actually have CD of the official Riven soundtrack).
