The version of Myst V I recieved from the Kickstarter program does not work on Windows 10 even though they claimed to have tested it. I get an access violation that my research show might be coming from Direct X. I will be a little more skeptical about Kickstater progjects in the future.

Works fine here...that error is often generated by older programs which require the "Run as administrator" compatibility option on some systems. Try it.
