I'm having problems running real Myst and Riven on Windows 7 64 and then read about all the problems GOG has with them. I figured that I threw my money away on them so I bought Myst Uru which indicated that it's compatible with Windows 7. Loved the game until I get to the second world and try the 2nd book in the library, which is unfortunately where you NEED to go to move forward. It crashes every time I enter the book. I get a "Main Branch has stopped working message?" I've sent several requests to GOG for help but no response. Can anyone help? I have tried everything that I have read in this forum. Are there any games similar to Myst that does work?

mine crashed a couple of time until I set compability to xp sp2 , the problem I am having is the going from one scene to another I am getting a black screen for about 2-3 minutes & then the scene continues. Found now by adjusting the setup settings the black screen have now gone.

Same experience. Crashes as soon as you left click in hut. Moved ahead to the next book and got to the end & the door won't open at the cliff side if you haven't completed Teledahn! Nuts!!

My journey cloths in eder gera and kemo are screwed up. I touched them all (went back and retracked 3 times and I still cant enter the exit to touch the last cloth and move on. The cloths keep showing one or two fingers but they are a little fuzzy, Anyone have suggestions. Im running on vista......

Please, I must get ti the exoansion pack.....
