I'm just wondering if you will ever get Myst 4 Revelation for Mac up and running for PC and Mac? I have the disks but no longer own a Mac as PC was more affordable when updating my computer. I love this game and have been searching to see if anyone has it for PC. I own all the other Myst games and none of them are the same as this one. Thanks :)
Unfortunately both Myst III: Exile and Myst IV: Revelation are tangled up in a legal rights situation which is why they aren't available for purchase in any digital distribution venue. Untill all involved parties can come to an agreement that situation won't change.
Thanks for the info :) It's much appreciated.
You're welcome ;)

Cyan has expressed the will to work out the situation with its partners so that the games can be made avaialble once more, fingers crossed.
This might be a dumb question but are you sure it doesn't work on PC? My version is for both PC and Mac, and it sounds weird to me they would release a version for Mac alone.
They did release both only as a combo CD/DVD. Mac and Windows. You wouldn't notice the windows files unless you opened it in windows. Though both Mac versions are for ancient PowerPC macs. IV will not run on modern intel macs with anything above 10.6 when they stopped using Rosetta. And Exile was meant for OS9! (not to be confused with 10.9) The only way to get these games running on modern is to run the windows version in wine/wineskin wrapper. This is very tricky because as I said, you can't access the windows files unless you have a windows computer.... Even the OS classic exile cd's are recognized as mac by the modern OS..(executables won't run)

Perhaps a little irrelevant, but I managed to get the Windows version of Exile running through Wineskin on my Mac using the install CDs, but it was no easy task. Still, it runs perfectly and is great fun. I prefer Myst 3 to 4, mainly because of Brad Dourif.

Yah, I had to copy the files from a windows computer, with a flashdrive. Then I remember I had to do a lot of messing around with the folder structure, so it could see the id.m3i from all 4 disks. (It was a while ago)
Actually it's not that hard to achieve. The Myst discs are a kind of hybrid disc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_disc#Multiple_file_systems) with both HFS and ISO9660 file systems. At least Windows software IsoBuster is able of reading both file systems in ISOs, there is probably a Mac equivalent, too.
There isn't, OSX recognizes the hfs+ part and all you see are the old OS Classic data, which is incompatible. There is no software I know for OSX to see the windows part.

IsoBuster on Wine? https://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iAppId=1384
Presumably WineBottler would be just as good: http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/
To be honest, I prefer wineskin to winebottler, but they do the same thing. :)

Might work, though I wonder if the cd mounted through OSX would still obscure the other half of the cd from ISOBuster in wine. Do let us know!

To be honest that is ISOBuster+Wine is over-complicating things. You can probably just un-mount the CD and then remount it via Terminal to tell it exactly what type of filesystem and partition to look for.

This looks to address that exact issue:
