My laptop screen is set to maximum brightness, but it's still not bright enough for me to see things in darker areas in the game. I am in the Mech age, and looking for the two secret rooms I know are there from my long-ago experience with this game. I found Achenar's room by clicking randomly all over his torture room (and I have no idea what I clicked to open the room), but I still have yet to locate Sirrus's. I've clicked on the obvious objects in the room, like the chess board and the bird, and I'm sure that the secret room is behind that picture on the wall, but nothing seems to work. Any help appreciated.

Both "backrooms" are situated behind each mainrooms throne/big, ugly chair, underneath a tapestry. You can see an indentation suggesting a small doorway. Clicking it opens the door, and you may enter the room. This is what you did accidentally in Achenar's room to find the torturechamber. Sirrus' backroom will be located on the opposite side of the throne to Achenar's.
