I recently upgraded my computers. So I took the oldest, a C2D e6600 and re-installed Windows XP to make playing the Myst games as easy as possible. I have an AMD HD6450 video card hooked up to my Pioneer TV through a Pioneer amp. I get no sound when playing Myst. I have read that Catalyst drivers do not support HDMI audio in 640x480 resolution. Does anybody have any knowledge or work arounds for this problem. Thanks

I purchased several Myst games from GOG recently, and all of them run perfectly for me in Win10x64, build 14986.1001, under an R9 380 4GB card running the 16.12.2 Crimson ReLive drivers...! I am running an AMD FX-8320e 8-core cpu on an MSI 970a Gaming motherboard with 16GBs of ram installed. The motherboard sound is terrific. All run at > 640x480 resolutions, too, IIRC. I only posted this so that if you have a more recent machine you should not be afraid at all of running the Myst games on it. Bear in mind, however, that I do own the recent GOG versions which might be better configured for Win7/8/10, if you are having trouble, say, with original retail versions of the games under later OS's.
