Anyone who played the original Myst would love this. Many of the great things about this version are the things that made the original great, but it's also added a lot to make people happy.
The original Myst was great because of the interesting settings, immersive story, and facinating world. This being a direct remake (none of the above has been changed) all that remains. However, Myst: Masterpiece Edition has upped the graphics quite a bit. Some of the cinematics have been redone, and weather has been added. This only serves to make everything more engaging to the player.
Ultimately, this is still the original Myst (the second best selling computer game of all time), but with a twist. It really is a masterpiece, and anyone who needs an escape should love this game.
