Another Pathea Games game that will no doubt suffer form constantly delayed patches/updates and dlc that will never be offered on GOG but will still be advertised in game.

Thanks to GoG's fantastically shitty forums you probably won't see this, but if you believe Panthea, the DLC being unavailable on GoG was an issue with Portia's publisher, Team 17. Apparently Sandrock is being published by Panthea themselves and "PM Studios" whoever that is.

So, no idea when or if the game will actually turn up?

I was hoping for the game to come out yesterday as on epic and steam. Oh well just have to wait a bit longer it seems.

But the funniest thing is that the game is available for purchase on Steam and Epic, and not for purchase on GOG.

It's still Early Access, so it may not come out here until it's finished.

And here you are wrong - YT already has the first gameplays that show that there is a lot of content for EA.

Yeah and I've seen (well, listened to) like a dozen hours of streams of it by now. But that doesn't change that the game is in EA, and therefore - literally by definition - unfinished. It's also not the first game to do its EA only on other stores.

Although I'm hoping that they'll bring the EA version to GOG, too. I just don't think that's very likely, personally. Either way, if they bring it to GOG before I get too impatient and "buy" it on a DRM store it's an instabuy for me, looks like a good successor, and I really enjoyed Portia.

I also pointed out on Pathea's page that I would buy Sandrock on GOG in a heartbeat, however my post was censored. (sandrock.pathea.net/ea-launch/) Doesn't look like they are considering a release on GOG at the moment, maybe just because of the lack of DRM.

Fortunately, I have enough to do in Portia to keep me entertained for a few more weeks. Ginger is a tough nut to crack too :)

Um, no, I'm not wrong. It is Early Access. It will remain Early Access until the developer releases it as complete.

The amount of available content is not relevant to its status.

I suspect, although I don't know, that it will not come out on GOG until it's complete.

According to amazon it comming out next month 26th September 2023 I hope GOG will get it as well it still listed

Well - I guess the developers/publishers don't want my money. I won't buy it on Steam for sure.
I will wait for a while, but if it takes to long I will give up on this game all together...
