It is certainly infuriating that they were happy to charge the same amount of money as on Steam, but treat us a second-class users. They seriously can't so much as engage in simple communication as to what could possibly take them over a week to ostensibly just invoke a collection of scripts to compile and push the GOG version?

The devs first game was Steam only... then Portia started life on Steam as an Eearly Access title... it was most likely the publishers decision to sell it places other than Steam and that burden then fell on the developer to update the game somewhere other than Steam... from the start, it's always been like pulling teeth to get anything out of them... Steam is their main focus, plain and simple... I have the game on there as well as GOG and sadly, I just play the Steam version cause the delays on GOG are ridiculous. They either don't know about the method to update the game to Galaxy users (a la Steam) or they just don't want to bother learning something new, becuase last time, the updates came the old school way of them sending the builds to GOG, then GOG doing the work
Well I saw on the Xbox feed that the game is up for pre-purchase there, so that explains why they're slower than usual in getting GOG updates... that puts us even further down the totem pole now

Now ain't that great. Guess that's still better than having no explanation at all.
