Got the attached message when entering the menu after completing level 42 with 99 Anima Shards :-)
(I'm playing the Linux version in German)

I discovered this bug this bug somewhere early in August, and when I e-mailed the developer about it, they said it'd be fixed in the next version (probably 1.1, which has gone live on Steam today).

Well, it could have been an "easter egg" (you can continue after clicking it away).
