I am a noob to gog and i dont really know much i got this game when i saw PC Gamer say that this game was free and i had wanted it for a while now when i go into the game it ask for a serial key and i dont know where it is.

Not sure which M&B game you're talking about, but in any case, any required serial key should be in your library (right below where you downloaded the installer for the game in question). The GOG version of the original Mount & Blade shouldn't ask for one (since it doesn't have multiplayer), and GOG doesn't provide a serial for that title anyway.
