I just downloaded the original Mount&Blade and so far I've gotten this weird neon color scheme on my avatar and the surrounding lands. has anyone else had this problem?

I think I saw something about this many years ago on Taleworlds' forums but cannot remember any details.

(Sorry for the late response) Go to: Configure>Video>Set "Render method" selecting "DirectX 7". I hope this would be helpful for you, it worked for me when I had that issue when I played the game for the first time.
