hey peebos

i was wondering if the upcoming viking conquest purchased from GOG would work with the Warband installed through Taleworlds website. (originally from GamersGate)
I know Steam has the restriction that both games must be on steam to get them to work together (understandable cause of their dumb client) - but do i need to own warband in GOG in order to get them to work?
(would work fine if they gave us the option to see the cd-key)

~cause i would prefer to purchase it through GOG~

i know the game is not out yet so its hard to give much advice, but if anybody would have alteast a slight clue what to expect, i'd be gratefull.

thanks in advance ;' )
I'm not entirely certain, but I think I had read that in order to even buy DLC on GOG you need the base game on GOG.
I also recall something about them trying to come up with a solution to work around that.
Maybe when Galaxy's launched they'll have to time to address that.

shame : /

thanks for the answer though ;')
~ hope it'll get clearer close to/after the release, i'd rather use GOG over other stores

I can confirm this. I was trying to buy it the other day and couldn't do it. I have Warband on steam and on the Talewordls website.
After Valve allowed Rockstar to patch San Andreas by removing content from it (music no longer licensed to RS, behaviour pretty much illegal in Europe) I'm not going to spend a single cent there anymore.
I'm really curious of how Galaxy is going to be.
