From my memory of owning this game over on Steam you actually need a serial right?

The GOG.com version does not need a product key nor does it include one.

Warband and With Fire & Sword include keys for multiplayer (single player does not need the key).

Just out of interest and after reading this post

It does appear that the original 'Mount and Blade' can be activated with a 'Warband' serial!


What use is it?

> Very useful if you don't use the GoG installer i.e. -> enchanced edition -> which gets you modding support for certain mods.


Essentially then, purchase 'Warband' from GoG for the serial key - get 'Mount and Blade' thrown in for free!
