picked up the game, and finally installed it, not sure what exactly the problem is, I can get it to go a little further in compatibility mode in windows, but still stops before loading can be finished, it appears just to go unresponsive.

A little more details, if you please, like which game exactly and which operating system? Do you meet/exceed the minimum requirements? Any error codes?

You know you can contact support if you need to as long as you meet the requirements (eg NO support for running a sold as Windows only through Wine).
