Due to compatibility issues with the GOG version and the Warsword mod, I tried to download the regular version from the Taleworld website, thinking that the CD-key that I have would work universally in all versions. However, the CD-key that GOG gives is way too long to fit the allotted space in the Taleworld launcher when it asks to register or continue with a trial version.

Is it possible to use the GOG CD-key on other versions, or is it limited only to the inferior GOG version?
