The biggest reason I bought this game is to enjoy awesome punkish/rock music that I remember from when I played it as a kid. However, this version of the game has a pretty bland, unrecognizable music. Anyone know why is this? I clearly remember OST from the game I played as a kid had a hard rhythm with guy singing the lyrics.

The Playstation version had a different soundtrack, which was licensed. The soundtrack included in this copy is the original one from the PC release.

But on the flip side of things, I think Moto2's original soundtrack is pretty awesome and thought the punk stuff playing when I youtubed the PS version sountrack sounded generic and bland.

The only reason I bought this game was to play it with that soundtrack from PSX. I didn't realize that I used to play this on Playstation or that PC and PS versions had a different soundtrack. What a bummer.

It wasn't only the PSX NTSC version, I brought a PC version CD from a friend when I was kid and it had the same soundtrack you are refering to. It had also a slighty different logo and a different intro video. I think they may have published the EU version here in GoG due to licensing.

I had this game on PC long ago back in the year 2000 and it had a different intro and soundtrack. The intro had some attitude towards defying the laws of gravity with a punk rock song playing in the background. I don't know if there is an unofficial mod that can change the game into that version, is there?
