Player one keeps going into a crouch/block position. Won't stay up. Even after remapping the keyboard. Player two is fine, plays normally. Anyone got any advice?

Which game (1, 2, 3, 4)? In which operating system? Maybe joystick calibration is wrong?
We need more info.

I've seen this in MK Trilogy (DOS). Disabling joystick is usually the easiest solution in case you are using keyboard only.
