Whats the best way to set up the control's with the 2nd game?

i've been trying to do the exact same thing i did with the 1st game but doesn't seem to work.

What did you do with the 1st game? I just went into game settings (press F10 in game) and set the keys to wasd for movement, E/C for Hi/Lo punc, Q/Z for Hi/Lo kick and Shift for block. Then I went to DOSBox Mapper (hold CTRL and press F1 when the game boots up), clicked on the keys, pressed the button on the gamepad and everything works.
