Im using two xbox one controllers and theyre both working on other games, anytime i try to use both on mk trilogy it either sees one controller as both. Or it doesnt show the controllers working at all. how can i use both at the same time? Thank you in advance!

I was about to post the same thing, just bought it last night to play two player and it registers one controller as controlling both players, while the other controller does nothing. Both of my controllers work normally in other two player games, I'm about to ask for a refund if no one has any idea how to fix this.

I'm having a similar issue except it will only recognize one controller as active and the other player is stuck on the keyboard. I'm not sure if can be fixed, but if it can be then someone should do it.

Compré MK Trilogy cuando lo lanzó Gog.
Yo utilizo un adaptador Bluetooth Tp-Link UB400 y emparejo dos DualShock4
Me funciona en Steam con otros juegos de lucha, pero cuando intenté usarlo en MK Trilogy de Gog, me ocurría los mismos problemas que a uds.
Entonces ingresé en Modo Big Picture y desactive Steam input para mandos de playstation.
Luego reincié la computadora y volví a ejecturar el MKTrilogy, en ese momento funcionaron los dos mandos en MKTrilogy

Disfruté el MKTrilogy de Gog muchos meses

Pero... desde el 06/Feb/2023 volvieron los problemas de los mandos, nuevamente tengo los mismos problemas que Uds.

I've had both issues in MK Trilogy.

I had one controller active for both characters at the same time. I think this was because it reconnected midgame.

I've also had both controllers working in every other program, but no input detected for Gamepad 2 in the controller setup menu. I have had this where Gamepad 1 starts a game as either Player 1 or Player 2.

I did a good bit of troubleshooting, swapping controllers, and checking `joy.cpl`, the problem seems to be squarely in the game. The system sees the controllers just fine. I have verified they are in XInput slots 1 and 2. Still no second input detected.

I am going to set up a player 2 keybind mapping, but wish they would fix this. Simply need to be able to select the target windows controller in the controller menu.

*Edit* Was able to play some two player with a DS4 mapped to the player 2, but the player 1 gamepad will switch to player 2 and start duplicate control. I think the only reliable way to hack around this broken game is to map both players to the keyboard.

Did anyone find a fix for this? This is a really good version of MKT in everything else, it's such a shame it can't be played with someone else because of this controller issue.

This is a shame. I came here looking for advice on this topic too, and this conversation bums me out. Hopefully someone finds a fix for this soon.
