I can't seem to get moonbase commander working over my local network.

Have myself and the wife using the same version, both purchased here (she's quickly set up a new account to buy it).

When doing mutliplayer the "join" screen has no games listed.

Windows firewall has been allowed/etc (both via the popups AND tried just completely manually turning it off on both machines AND manually set the ports for inbound/outbound as would be needed for internet play to ensure it's definitely passing the firewall) - nada

Tried moonbaseip for the "quick and dirty internet play" and just used local IP addresses - nada

Tried moonbase console (had a look in the thread here) - nada

The ip and console methods have whichever machine is joining say "internet ok" then sits "finding game" forever and never connects.

Not sure what else I can try, I'd really like to get this working if anyone has any ideas?

Have you port-forwarded the following ports on your router to one machine on your network?

2300 (TCP)
47624 (TCP)
2350 (UDP)

Also you could download the Moonbase Console, which allows for easier matchup and map customization. A link should be on this forum.

This combined with the ports being forwarded is what allowed the game to work on my network.
