I have 2 pieces of stone tablet, found the second in a cave after second child sighting and im stuck. Ive jumped over the fence without interacting with the gate (there was some red button on it but i havent got a clue how to activete it or what to put in it). Well, now ive entered the cave, took the stone and im stuck, cannot go back and dont see any way to move foraward. Any help?

Ok, save system in this game is officially broken. Ive done that thing in post 1, left the game, loaded save 8 (note, i was missing save 7) and game decided that ive alredyd done thing in save 7 (opened the gate and then proceded through it). So now in load screen I have save 7 and 8 so if you are stuck just reload, the game will "fix" your mistakes and dead ends that apparently exist.
I also noticed some bugs with the save system. At the very same bit, the large groyne resting on the gate is moved when you rotate the gate. But if you reload a save there, the gate starts open but the groyne spawns in it's 'resting' position, falling into the gap. Occasionally I could get past it but on most reloads, it was completely impassible.

I wasn't aware that there was a jump-over-the-gate bug, but it's not surprising. I mentioned elsewhere that I bumped into a wall which shot me 20 feet into the air.
There's also a place later in the game where two beach groynes are placed against a stone wall, so that they form two narrow ramps. I thought I was clever, walked across one of those ramps, and dropped behind the wall. There was nothing there of interest, but invisible walls prevented me from getting back to the main path . I had to reload and loast all my progress from the last checkpoint.

So, if you see a beach groyne that can be walked over - don't. :) As far as I can tell (and I completed the game), you don't ever need to do that, it just gets you into trouble. ;)
