If you face the gate, you need to turn around and head for the sea. It's just off to your right, leaning on a rock (textured the same as the rock, for added camouflage).

Wther: If you're facing the gate, you need to head to the very end of the beach to the right.
"A colorful wooden spinner" lies there, there are some crates and a barrel, no walking stick. On the other side there is some inaccessible house with a cellar door that I can open while standing close to the fence and thats it.

Yeah my bad, sorry. I remembered the wrong collectable item. Sorry for making you hobble so painfully slowly all that way!

Check my edited post #2 for the correct info. You can change a setting in the 'game' part of the menu to highlight collectable objects.

It is quite unfairly rock-textured to make it almost invisible. Looks quite buggy actually, probably (hopefully) not intentional.
