Hi everyone,

I'm willing to buy Monster Boy and it's at the same price on GOG and Steam. If both versions are equivalent, I'd rather tend to buy it DRM-free so my questions are:

1. is there any functionality lacking in the GOG version?

2. are updates as frequent in the GOG version? (I've just checked the Steam version: the latest patch is patch #1 released in August 2019, was it released on GOG as well?)

Latest patch was the 14th of August 2019.
The game has achievements and cloud saves, it seems identical for all intents and purposes.
I also played it with a SN30Pro gamepad in Xinput mode so it doesn't rely on Steam for controller support.
