I just bought "Escape from Monkey Island" since my physical (german) copy wouldn't work correctly with PortingKit on macOS.

Videos and the game are in English after install. I found a new version of the EMI Launcher, where I can download a language patch, but that won't work, because it's not meant for the installed version of the game.

Then I tried to replace all the files (except the monkey4.exe) from my CD-ROM, but that rendered the game useless, since it could't find the CD...

Any clue, how to get German language out of it?

I deleted the package PortingKit installed and got the manual installer from GOG, which did the trick. Game is now complete in german. PortingKit had seemingly loaded the english setup files...
